Lucky me! I just got woken up by two happy boys. Just what I needed this Monday morning.

Easter Fun

Easter was Sunday. Jax had lots of fun with his cousin Colin.

Little League practice started this week. Jax was placed with the same team and coaches as last year though only a few players returned from his team. 

Hands On Museum

Jax and Colin got to go to the Hands On Museum in Olympia with Grandma Shirley and Papa Steve on Monday. They had a blast. 

Tired Bubba

Poor bubba. Hasn't moved since 6:30 this morning. Must be tired from two days of adventures with Grandma Shirley and Colin, battling his MMR vaccine and a 100 degree fever. It's a good day to veg out on the couch and watch movies. If you know Jax, you know he doesn't lay still awake for any amount of time, let alone over 4 hours.

He didn't start to crack until last night's highly unusual meltdown over the cheap toy car from Chuck E Cheese that broke. Best line in the crying "You don't know how many tickets it took to get that car. A lot." So sad. He's in a happy mood today. Just seems like his body is tired. I told him he had to rest all day in order to feel good enough to go to t-ball practice at 5:30. We will see. Depends on fever.

The nurse said on Friday that the MMR can cause side effects for up to two weeks because it is a live virus vaccine with most kids peaking at 7-10 days. Timing is about right.

Jax is such a great big brother and just so darn entertaining. AJ just loves watching him.

Space Jam

Jaxon working on his dunking skills after school today. Not bad. Working on his 60 minutes of play for #nflplay60 just as Mr. Godsiff instructed in P.E.  :)
