Spit Bubbles Rock!

Not a great picture in terms of angle but I did catch Jaxon in his new favorite past time...blowing spit bubbles. Sometimes it looks like someone poured soap in his mouth he has so many bubbles. Must be something in the vast amounts of drool he has now. Leads me to wonder...how does he do that?

Happy Halloween!!!

Today Jaxon wore his "My First Halloween" shirt. We didn't go trick or treating but we did head to my classroom so that my students could finally meet him. He was all smiles with all the attention he got from my 5th and 6th graders. Now we head into November and my last 4 weeks at home with Jax before heading back to work. I am missing my class and co-workers but I am sad about not being home everyday with Jaxon. It will be a difficult transition for me but I know he will be in good hands with Daddy and Grandma Shirley. We will just make the most of our last month together. :)

I Love My Grandma!

I bought Jax some new clothes the other day including this outfit. Jaxon misses his Grandma Shirley who is in Arkansas. Jaxon is lucky to have two wonderful grandmas and a great grandma who love him very much. This outfit is for them.

My Sleepy Lil' Bear

Just an adorable picture that I had to share. He was sleeping so peacefully and his shirt was perfect. Plus it is another great chance to see his amazing new eyelashes. Yes...I am obsessed with his eyelashes.

Plus Grandma Shirley is in Arkansas and probably needs a Jax Fix. :)

Jax Loves His Mobile!!!

Over the past two to three weeks we have been transitioning Jax into his crib during naps in the daytime and for his first stretch of sleep at night from 8 or 9 until 2 or 3 when he wakes to feed. It has been going well. Now that he is in his room more often we are finally getting some use out of things in it like the baby monitor, changing table, and of course his elephant mobile, which he just loves to watch over and over again. That is good news as it gives mommy time to get dressed and ready in the morning and to fold his laundry in the afternoons. :)














I actually caught him smiling during tummy time in the 30 seconds before he rolled over. Amazing!

Jax at 10 Weeks!

Jaxon and I headed to Tacoma for the weekend and while we were there his Grandma Shirley took lots of pics as usual. He turned 10 weeks officially yesterday but the pics are from Sunday. Close enough. He is getting so big.
