Birthday Dance

We spent our third day and Jaxon's third birthday at Disneyland. He had breakfast with the characters and wore a button so that everyone wished him a happy birthday. When we went by the Orleans band they sung him "Happy Birthday" and then played him some dancing music.

Jaxon Starts Montesorri

Jaxon has begun preschool. He is starting at Compass Montessori Preschool in Federal Way. It looks to be exactly what we are looking for in terms of an engaging learning environment for him. In order to allow him to start, the youngest they take is 2.5 year olds (he was 2.5 on 02/11/11), he needed to be potty trained. While he was mostly there up until this point, we needed to go cold turkey with the pull ups the week or two before now. He did amazingly well, with only one or two minor accidents on the way to the toilet. Now he looks to be night trained as well. When he goes for it he goes all the way. How nice it will be to without diapers from now on. I won't miss it. I'm so proud of him for being completely potty trained by 2.5. It was so much sooner than I was told boys would do. I'm looking forward to all that is to come with him attending this new school. :)
