Jaxon, Where is Your Shadow?

Jaxon had an epiphany today in the backyard.
Sunlight is where your friend the shadow is, not in the shade. So funny!

Morning at the Beach

We spent the morning at the beach with Grandma Shirley and Colin. We played at the park, dug holes, explored the seaweed and starfish, collected sticks, and tossed the beach ball around. It was awesome! The best part is this beach is a 3 minute drive from our house. :)

Jaxon and I made some fingerpaintings for daddy and the 2 grandpas. Then we did some decorating for daddy on the sliding glass window. We saw Grandpa Storms in the morning and went to dinner with Grandpa Starr in the evening.

If You're Happy and You Know It...

One of the many songs Jaxon learned at his playgroup and swim classes. He loves, loves, loves music and is constantly singing or dancing. His favorites are "If You're Happy and You Know It", "The Wheels on the Bus", "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star", and "The Itsy Bitsy Spider". Probably because of the hand motions in all of those songs. They are interactive. As I film them I will put them up. He gets camera shy as you can see in the video but he warms up. In real life he is super in to it and sings loudly and does all the hand motions but when he sees me filming him he gets quieter. :)
