Jaxon had his last day of daycare today. We decided, after much discussion and thought, to pull Jaxon from daycare early. We planned on pulling him in June when my summer vacation started but due to his recurrent ear infections, which caused him to miss a large amount of the daycare we were paying for, we decided to pull him in April to give him a break from the exposure to germs. We are able to do this thanks to the support of our family. Drew will continue with his 2 days a week. His mom, Shirley, will take 2 days and my mom, Cindy, will take 1 day a week to cover the 3 days he used to go to daycare. Hopefully this will help Jaxon's body to get a break from the germs until we figure out his ears. His teachers were sad that he was going early but understood. To keep him socializing with other kids he will be taking swim classes once a week and may begin some music and/or Gymboree classes. He will also continue to have play dates with my friends and their children. Also Grandma Shirley has some "Grandma" friends with grandchildren of similar ages. I am sure he will be out and about throughout the week. :)
